Adorable vintage "tap shorts" from Escada features double rows of crested brass buttons that give these shorts a 1930s-40s look (our best guess is that they were made in the 1990s). The fabric is red wool gabardine, and the shorts have two slash pockets. Closure is with a back zipper. The shorts are made like men's pants with extra seam allowance at the waistband, so they can easily be altered. Labeled German size 36, which generally corresponds to a US size 6.
