Damascus steel is known for its strength and durability with its reputation surpassing any other metals.  Fire forged with 176 blade layers and tempered around 54 to 55 creating the unique Random pattern seen on the blade. This blade comes in a drop point style and features a thumb stub for opening with ease.  The handle is slightly bent and contoured for comfort.  Made of quality material this knife is built to last.  The handle slabs are real bone and stained red.  Centered in the middle is a mosaic pin to tie all the artistic elements together. The brass frame comes with a liner locking mechanism with diamond cuts to bring brilliance to the piece.  The bolster are made from copper with a silver finish and floral design. Along the spine is free hand file work that runs down the length of the handle. Included is a hand sewn leather sheath that has been stained and treated. The sheath comes with a snap closure and a belt loop on the back.
