Romantic pintucked wedding dress by designer Tachi Castillo. Ms Castillo came from a family of famous sterling silver jewelry designers in Taxco, Mexico, where she opened her clothing shop in the late 30s. She was known for her incredibly intricate pleated dresses and tops and dressed everyone from Bridget Bardot to Lana Turner, Frida Kahlo and Princess Anne. She is credited with having created the popular "Mexican wedding dress" of which this is one!

The fabric is a white, almost ivory, cotton polyester blend. Dress has a square neck and fitted empire bodice. Pin tucks are criss crossed like lattice on the bodice and vertical on the sleeves and skirt. Long, set in sleeves have a wide bell shape and rows of sheer white lace. The flowy A line skirt attaches at the high waist and has lots of rows of the same sheer white lace from about the knee down. About ankle to floor length, depending on your height. There is a long sash attached at the back that ties in front. The last photo shows how it looks without the ties, in case you want to remove them (easy to do). 17" metal zipper and hook and eye in back. Cottagecore dream dress by Tachi Castillo!
