The Free Range Slacks from Sew House Seven are our go-to pattern for effortlessly stylish, comfortable elastic waist pants. With a high rise, easy fitting elastic waistband, topstitched pockets and a tapered or straight cropped leg, you’ll come away with a new wardrobe favourite to wear all season long. 

Through making your Free-Range slacks you’ll learn to work with a commercial sewing pattern to find your perfect size, while showing off your favourite solid fabric or print along the way. This class will guide you through the essentials of pant construction, from placing and topstitching pockets, to fitting elastic waistbands, and will demystify different seam types in the process.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Prerequisites: 101 Sewing Machine Tote Bag or Throw Pillow, plus another level 100 or 200 class, or equivalent experience

Pattern Details: The Sew House Seven Free Range Slacks pattern includes waist sizes from 23..5" to 57". If you are outside these waist measurements, please let us know when you join the class so we can ensure the pattern and fabric requirements are appropriate for your project.
