A mala is a powerful meditation tool used to focus the mind, deepen awareness, and keep count during mantra recitations. Each mala contains 108 beads. The sacred number in spiritual traditions, plus a larger “guru” bead to mark the starting and ending point of your practice.

To use your mala, begin with the bead next to the guru bead. Hold it between your thumb and index finger, silently or audibly repeat your mantra, then move to the next bead using a gentle rolling motion.  You can hang it on your car mirror, place it on your altar, or use it as home decor for a touch of mindful style. Note: Too short to wear as a necklace.
