ELK-941 Alarm Output Director

The ELK-941 is a versatile relay module designed to separate steady and pulsing voltage from a single alarm output, directing it into two independent relay outputs. This makes it an excellent solution for controlling two-channel long-range radios, cellular transmitters, sirens, strobe lights, or bells using the alarm outputs commonly found in security control panels.

When a steady voltage input is detected, Relay 1 activates—ideal for burglary alarms. When a pulsing voltage input is detected, Relay 2 activates—typically used for fire alarms. The module includes a 3 to 4-second verification delay before activation to reduce false alarms, with the option to bypass this delay for applications that require immediate response. Additionally, Relay 2 can be configured to pulse in a temporal coded bell pattern that complies with ANSI Standard S3.41 for fire alarm signaling.

Designed for flexibility and reliability, the ELK-941 supports positive or negative low current triggering, features LED status indicators, and provides a low current output for alerting during the delay period. It comes housed in a durable surface-mount ABS enclosure with a snap-on cover, ensuring easy installation and long-lasting performance.
