The world's first recording of the complete Partita with Zilberman piano! At the age of 45, Bach, at the peak of his maturity, released the Partitas as "Op. 1" with all his might. It is thought that Bach was already in contact with the new instrument created by Gottfried Zilberman when he composed this powerful work consisting of six pieces. Genzo Takehisa, who is convinced that this instrument, equipped with new functions such as a damper release device and harpsichord register, had no small influence on Bach's later compositions and on the "Partitas" in particular, uses the Zilberman piano to get to the heart of the sounds and music Bach envisioned in his mind.
