In the late 1800s, Orville Gibson arrived in Kalamazoo and began designing his own range of mandolins. Over time his company grew to become one of the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturers. Some of the world's finest guitars were built at 225 Parsons Street from 1917 to 1984. After the brand left town some of the former senior employees wanted to continue the tradition of handcrafting beautiful, high quality electric guitars in Kalamazoo. In the spring of 1985, they bought space at the iconic factory, much of the original guitar-making equipment, and the rest is history.

Celebrated as an icon and time-honored classic, the H-150's defining qualities have been taken to new heights, with premium materials, Heritage Custom Shop 225 Classic Humbuckers and vintage components making it a symbol of world-class excellence.

We personally source the highest quality curly maple and ultra-lightweight genuine mahogany to craft the guitar body.

Nitrocellulose Finish

This finish has a vintage gloss that adds a subtle shine and smooth feel. It wears and ages throughout the guitar's lifetime. Also available in Artisan Aged finish.

Distinguished Headstock

Featuring the Heritage logo and a Twin Arrow inlay in vintage gloss, the headstock is complemented by 3x3 tuners laser-etched with Heritage graphics.

Vintage-Inspired Touches

The '50s C-shaped neck profile is truly comfortable to play, while the locking bridge and aluminum stopbar tailpiece increase sustain and resonance.
