What is friction tape preset staplegrip: Friction tape preset staplegrip is a fastener strip that uses pre-loaded staples plus a friction-tape adhesive layer to create a hybrid mechanical-and-adhesive splice. The friction tape provides initial holding while the staples are driven, eliminating the need for a separate alignment jig.

How to install: Lay the friction tape preset strip across the belt end, press to engage the adhesive, then drive the preset staples with the EasyFix hammer-driver tool. The tape locks the splice during staple driving, preventing the strip from shifting on smooth or worn belt surfaces.
