The L-com USB2.0-RS232-2M is a USB bus to RS232 serial connection converter cable that is available. We can connect legacy RS232 devices like PDAs, GPS systems, etc. to a USB connection on a PC or laptop by using this serial converter cord. The USB 2.0 to RS232 cable draws power from the USB port, so no external power supply is needed.

The cable jacket is made from PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) material. Our converter cord has a USB type A male connector for connecting to a PC or laptop and a DB9 male connector for the RS232 connection. The L-com USB2.0-RS232-1M USB bus to RS232 cable provides a migration path to legacy RS-232 and serial equipment, protecting your investment.

This converter cord is available in plug-and-play configuration and has a 1 Mbps data transfer rate. Our 2-meter long serial conversion cable is suitable for DAQ, data communications, serial devices to USB and vice versa, creating RS232 ports, peripheral interconnects such as PDAs, modems, and ISDN terminal applications. L-com serial conversion cable is compatible with platforms running Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.
