HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Our Large Apollo Bust is a reduced reproduction of the Italian antique version from 1780 of Apollo Belvedere. The Roman marble statue from c. 120-140 can be seen in the Vatican Museums and is thought to be a copy of a Greek original from BC 350-325 made of bronze by Leochares. The famous Diana of Versailles statue or so called Diana Chasseresse is a Roman copy of the Greek original by Leochares as well. It is well-known that Apollo and Diana (or Artemis in Greek mythology) were twins, children of Zeus and Leto. Consequently our Apollo Bust coupled with our Diana Chasseresse Bust results in a breathtaking and harmonious interior attracting the attention of anyone who enters the room.

Apollo in both Greek and Roman mythology was the god of music, poetry, art, archery and as well the leader of the muses.


PREMIUM MARBLE CAST

Our sculptures are produced using a unique and proprietary dry casting process. Crafted with white Carrara marble, over 90% of each finished sculpture is composed of natural marble, giving it the authentic look and feel of genuine marble.

Casting with such a high marble content requires significantly more finishing work and makes large-scale mass production impossible—a key difference from resin alternatives. Around 80% of the process is dedicated to hand-finishing the surface. This intensive hand-finishing is essential to bring out the stone particles and enhance the natural stone feel. Each piece is meticulously completed by our skilled artisans, guaranteeing the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.
