These unique L-com U3A00072 series of USB cables feature a stainless steel or plastic crush resistant armor over L-com's premium USB 3.0 cable to provide protection in applications where standard cables would be damaged due to excessive force. Crush resistance is 1500 PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) for the stainless steel versions and 800 PSI for the plastic versions. The 22AWG USB power wires allow for maximum power transfer and successful USB 3.0 transmission at distances of 2 to 3 meters. All assemblies are shielded and built with UL Style 2725 PVC cable under the armor. Molded ends and a coupling nut provides extra durability. Steel versions are silver and plastic versions are black.
